Merlin Trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park
On Thursday 10th October, Merlin Class will be going to Yorkshire Wildlife Park to support our Science topic "Living things and their habitats". Please read the information below carefully.
We will be leaving school at 8:00 am so therefore your child needs to arrive at school between 7:30 - 7:45 am. Please do not book them into Breakfast Club and politely request that they eat breakfast before coming to school as there will not be time to eat before we go.
Tracy is providing all children with a packed lunch and children have already made their sandwich choices. Can all children bring a full water bottle with them. Children will be responsible for carrying their lunch/ water bottles around with them all day so please ensure they bring an appropriately sized rucksack.
Children are required to be in comfortable school uniform - I would suggest PE kit and trainers but with their RED Burton Leonard jumper please. Can all children bring a lightweight waterproof coat (as they will need to carry it) and, should the sun shine for us, a sun hat. If the weather is cold then a woolly hat and scarf as appropriate. The trip is predominately outside so we want the children to be as comfortable as possible.
We will return to school for 3:30pm.
There is no cost for this trip as FOBLS have very kindly paid for the trip for the children. However, we still require permission for your child to go on the trip and kindly request that you give permission as soon as possible via Arbor.
