Welcome to Burton Leonard Church of England (VC) Primary School
At Burton Leonard C of E (VC) Primary School, our vision is "to love our neighbour, enabling everyone to shine and make a difference in the world."
The inspiration for our vision comes from the Parable of the Good Samaritan; "love your neighbour as yourself." Luke 10:27.
Every person matters at our school and everyone is nurtured as individuals to shine and make a difference in the world. We are part of a vibrant, village community. We love and care for each others and all are welcome.
The Good Samaritan shares our school values of courage, love and service. The Good Samaritan demonstrated courage by being the person that made a difference. He demonstrated love in his ability to support and care for the injured man. We encourage all to take inspiration from the Good Samaritan, loving our neighbours as he did and providing service to others. We ask ourselves, Who is our neighbour? and How can we shine together?
Our school is a special, warm and inspiring place of learning. We pride ourselves on the close relationships we have with our families, the Church and local community. We are proud to be a part of the community and the people we serve. Come and visit to see how brightly all at Burton Leonard shine!
