In Reception, we will be starting our 'People who help us' topic theme. This is an incredibly important (and fun!) topic to get children to know who can help them when they have a problem. There are so many people who help us in our everyday lives. Some help us with day to day and others when it’s an emergency. It’s crucial to get children to understand people who help us in emergency situations and one of the best ways of doing this is to provide children with real life experiences.

Some jobs we will be learning about are:

- Police

- Paramedics

- Vets

- Doctors

- Dentists
