Snow Closures
When winter comes, we like to be prepared. We make every effort to keep the school open, however, there may be times when we have to close, either for a full day or during the day.
In the event of snow, please note the following:
Assume Burton Leonard School will open in the first instance.
Check your Arbor email messages - we will let you know if school is going to be closed for the day as early as we can. We will also contact you via email and phone call if school is to close during the day. School closures are also published on https://www.northyorks.gov.uk/school-closures
Furthermore, the YourHarrogate and Greatest Hits radio stations are informed if Burton Leonard is closed due to the snow as well.
